18 November 2008
Dear Families,
Congratulations to Daniel, he is our
student of the week!
Tomorrow, November 19 is a minimum day with
1:15 dismissal for students in all grade levels.
The book fair takes place all week in the
library. Our class has already
previewed what is available and completed a wish list. You will find it attached to the front of
this letter. Thursday morning at 9:30
students will be allowed to go to the library to make a purchase. Thursday evening is the big family night,
you may also make purchases then. If
you would like, you can even buy dinner which will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. You can call the school library for more
details.
On Monday, we are celebration Native
American Day. We have activities
planned and have special guests visiting to teach us about their culture. The festivities will start at 10 a.m., in
our classroom. This will be an
incredible learning experience for all of us.
Thank you to Michael for sharing his family and friends with us! Families are welcome to attend. School gets out at 1:45 on Monday and 1:15
on Tuesday. There will be no school on
Wed., Thurs., or Fri.
Our homework packet is a little different
this week because we get out on Tuesday so there is really nothing to
return. We will resume our regular
schedule after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Your children are GREAT!
